The May meeting of the Hancock County Board of Education will be held Tuesday, May 26 at 5:30 p.m. at the JDR Career Center. With the State’s takeover of the Hancock County School District, the meetings have a distinctly different flavor with the elected Board members unable to vote on any matter to come before the Board.
A public hearing concerning the Budget (26-27) of the Hancock County Board of Education will be held with a presentation by Jeff Davis, Educating Consulting Team, LLC. Davis, a retired superintendent, was hired by the current board members last year to assist in sorting out the financials.
