Melissa Parmenter, 56, of Chester, WV, passed away May 29, 2024.
Born August 17, 1967, she was the daughter of Nancy (Arbaugh) Robinson and the late Walter Steiner.
Melissa was a graduated of Oak Glen High School, class of 1979 and she was formerly employed as the secretary of the Hancock County Office of the WVDOH.
She was preceded in death by step-children, Rhiannon Morris and Chad Davis.
Surviving are a daughter, Taylor Parmenter of Nevada, step-children, Hunter Davis (Josh Dent) and Megan Reed, two brothers, Craig Robinson (Heather) of Steubenville and Domenic Steiner of Weirton.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, from 1-3 and 5pm until time of funeral service at 7pm, at the Nixon Funeral Home of Newell.
