Hancock County Commission

   Hancock County Commission approved both paid and voluntary appointments at its January 28th meeting. Permission was given to advertise for an open 911 dispatcher position.  The resignation of Rick Anderson as field deputy in the Assessor’s office was accepted and approval was also given to advertise for a full-time field deputy position.
  An open volunteer position on the Northern Panhandle Home Consortium was approved for advertisement.  The available position’s term will expire June 30, 2022.
  Four individuals were approved for acceptance into the Hancock County Sheriff’s Reserves: Caleb Matthew Minger, Zachary Michael Tate,  Linda Marie Miller and John Paul Felekey.
   Commissioners received the Hancock County Animal Shelter report with 140 animals brought and 141 animals adopted out.
