Violet Marie Six, 77, of Newell passed away Friday October 22, 2021. Born September 18, 1944 in Cameron, WV she was the daughter of the late Harold and Mabel (Chamber) Blake.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carlton Six, four brothers Carl, Paul, Robert and Charles. Three sisters, Beaulah, Myrtle and Geraldine.

She is survived by three sons, Mark(Peggy) Duncan, Wayne Duncan and Brett (Kelly) Six. Two Daughters, Virginia(Les)Hatfield and Robin(Mark) Brookes with whom she resided.   Nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren and a sister Ellen Duty. The love of Violet’s life were her grandchildren.

Visitation is Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Nixon Funeral Home in Newell, WV where funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 27, 2021 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens.
