Albert “Smokey” Still Sr., 91, of New Cumberland, WV, passed away February 25, 2022.
Smokey was born May23, 1930 in Weirton, he was a son of the late Clyde and Maizy (Geist) Still.
He was a proud United States Army Veteran. Smokey was a retired Pipe Fitter from Weirton Steel. He also owned and operated N C & W Plumbing and Heating. Smokey was a devoted member of the New Cumberland Nazarene Church and also attended Weirton 1st Church.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Norma (Allison) Still; a son, Albert “Butch” Still Jr.; a daughter, Janet Lynn Gibas; four brothers, William, Vernon, Mark and Clyde; also by a sister, Katheryn.
Surviving are two sons, Kevin (Pamela) Still of Pittsburgh and Adam Still of New Cumberland; four grandchildren, Steven Still, Joseph Gibas, Jeremy Still and Nathan Still; two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Alexia; a son-in-law, James Gibas of East Liverpool; also by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Tuesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the Nixon Funeral Home, New Cumberland, WV, where funeral services will be held at 11a.m on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. Interment will follow in New Cumberland Cemetery.
