Frances Parsons, 91, of Weirton, passed away February 22, 2022.
Born in Weirton, WVa, she was the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Gwizdak) Guz.
Frances was a retired Advertisement Representative for Weirton Daily Times Newspaper and also a former Avon Representative. She was a member of the Weirton Senior Center. Frances was an avid reader and gardener, a past member of a local Bowling League and enjoyed playing corn hole. She also took pride in her appearance.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Parsons; two sons, Ronald and David Parsons; and siblings, Rosie, Mary and Stella, Tony, Tom, Stanley and Joseph.
Surviving are a son, Robert Parsons of Weirton; two grandchildren, Jacob and Zachary; one great-grandchild, Breonna.
Private arrangements were handled by the Nixon Funeral Home.
