Frances Ann Floyd-Murphy, eighty-four of Chester, passed at Valley Oaks Care Center in East Liverpool following a lengthy illness.
She was the daughter of the late Austin G. and Augusta Poole Floyd. Frances was born in East Liverpool on January 1, 1938.
She toiled as a machine liner at Homer Laughlin China from which she retired. She served as the financial secretary for GMPPAW International Union Local #419. Frances was a 1956 graduate of the former Chester High School, and she was a member of the Chester High School Alumni Association.
Along with her parents, her husband, Robert Warren Murphy, and her brother, Harry Floyd preceded her in death.
Private Graveside services will be at Spring Grove Cemetery in East Liverpool, and she is in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester.
