Helene “lee” Jane Buck passed away unexpectedly on February 23,2023 at Weirton Medical Center. She was born April 20, 1930 in New Cumberland, WV the daughter of Mary (Zumer) and Joseph Stolarczyk. She was preceded in death by her mother and father and her husband Clarence (Bucky) Buck who died on October 10, 2009. Also preceding her are four sisters, Sophie (Bill) Simon, Virginia (Jim) McMenamin, Josephine (Jo) Stolarczyk and Darlene (Sam) McNeil. She is survived by her sister Emily Blanda and brother & sister- in- law Ted & Mary Ann Stolarczyk. Helene is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews. Helene graduated from New Cumberland High School. She married her High School sweetheart Bucky on Novemebr 9, 1957. Helene was employed by Weir Cove Trucking for 50 years. She and her husband owned and operated the Ridge Avenue Confectionary & Homemade Ice Cream business. Lee and Bucky were avid dancers and belonged to several Square & Round Dance Clubs. Their family knows that they are dancing in Heaven right now. They hosted many holiday events at their home and vacationed with family and friends in Florida, South Carolina , Europe and went on cruises. Lee loved her family very much and they loved her. Helene belonged to the Catholic Woman’s Club of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Cumberland, WV. At Helene’s request a private Mass will be held at a later date, also per her wishes she will be cremated and interred in the family plot at New Cumberland Cemetery.
