Sheriff J Scott Gittings is announcing that he will be seeking re-election for the office of Sheriff of Hancock County on the Republican ballot. This will be my 2nd term. I was first elected in November of 2020 and took office on January 1st of 2021. I feel we have accomplished many of the goals we set, but still have some we need to get done. I have learned a lot along the way and will continue to be the best Sheriff I can be.
In 2024 will start my 45th year of being in Law Enforcement and have always served my community the best that I could and will continue that in the coming years.
