Tony LaScola is Candidate for County Commissioner

My name is Tony LaScola, and I am asking for your support in the upcoming election for the office of Hancock County Commissioner.  My goals as County Commissioner are to make updates to key infrastructure, including accessible broadband internet and updating outdated water and sewage lines throughout the county. I also want to ensure our emergency management services are adequately funded so they can provide the best possible services for our people. Addressing these needs will help us attract new businesses, enable growth in our housing market, and provide opportunities for our youth. We have the people to accomplish these goals, and many are already working to that end. We must support their efforts by addressing the financial hurdles through collaboration with state and federal agencies to access available grants.  I believe that the people of Hancock County deserve someone who is willing to go the extra mile to see that their needs are met. As a retiree, I am able to devote myself entirely to the job and see to it that my promises are kept. The County Commissioner is the frontline of local government and a very important role that I intend to take very seriously. I am a lifelong resident of Hancock County and a graduate of Oak Glen High School (Class of 1980). I am a father of three children, Anthony, Madison, and Lena. I have a supportive wife Karen, and a history of serving people other than myself. I spent the last 23 years of my career as Vice President/Managing Director of two national appraisal management companies.  One of my main responsibilities was to manage our budget to ensure the success of our company.  That experience will guide me and my decisions with respect to the hard-earned dollars of the county taxpayers.    I truly believe that Hancock County has a bright future. With your help, we can meet these challenges head on and take the proper steps to improve our county. I am asking for your vote on May 14, 2024, in the Republican Primary.
