William Blaine Hurst II, 72, of New Cumberland, WV passed away Sunday, October 6, 2024 at his residence.
He was born April 14,1952 in Steubenville, OH a son of the late Durwood Stanley & Esther Rosetta (Allen) Hurst. He is also preceded in death by a brother Durwood Cecil Hurst, a Nephew Anthony Hurst and a Great nephew Ian Hurst.
He was a retired Truck Driver; was a self employed carpenter; enjoyed wood working, old cars and trucks.
Surviving are his children Lynn Stimeling of Mt Holly Springs, PA; William Blaine Hurst III of Boiling Springs, PA; 1 sister Barbara Ellen Humbert of New Cumberland, WV; 3 Grandchildren Jordan(Mark) Lentz, Taylor (Nathaniel “Hoot” Malinish) Stimeling, Quintin (Zoe) Hurst; 1 Great grandchild Briggs Malinish and many Nieces & Nephews.
Friends will be received Wednesday 6 – 8 pm at Turley Funeral Home.
Services will be there Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 11:00 am with Pastor Kyle Ashley officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery.
